The Downeast Multiple Listing Service (DEMLS) was formed under the auspices of the Hancock-Washington Board of REALTORS® in 1978. The DEMLS is the oldest of only two operating Multiple Listing Services in the State of Maine. The other MLS is Maine Real Estate Information System, Inc.
The DEMLS is a locally controlled multiple listing service allowing member agencies to post their listings to a shared site. Various types of data are compiled and shared with its members via this medium. DEMLS listings are also entered into REALTOR.com and Downeast Maine IDX on the DEMLS website.
The DEMLS Board of Directors is annually elected by member Participants and is responsible for all aspects of the DEMLS. The DEMLS offers a state-of-the art, Internet-based operating system, MLXchange.
REALTORS® and other real estate professionals are under no obligation to join a MLS service.

$30 monthly Office Dues
$33 monthly Licensee Fee
